The Company:

An experienced Ladieswear Designer with a passion for fashion and keen eye for trends is needed for an established ladieswear supplier.

Our client is a leading clothing manufacturer who has been established over 15 years and supply to the High Street retailersincluding Primark.

Please note this is initially a 12 month contract.

The Role:

Responsible for designing multi products ladieswear and teens, woven's, tailoring, jerseywear and soft separates.
Liaising with factories in Romania and Turkey
Attending research trips.
Sourcing new fabrications and trimmings
Understand fabric across woven
Tracking sample development and updating team of collection timelines on a regular basis
Working with Buyers to develop ranges and create fresh seasonal product
Daily fits working alongside sample team
Creating trend boards and involvement in trend presentations.
Attend client meetings and be able to sell the designs with confidence.
Working to a critical path and organising samples.
Attending meetings to present designs to Buyers.
Able to drive the business forward with on trend designs.

Skills Required:

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a Designer role.
Must be creative and have a commercial eye.
Have dealt with High Street retailers including Primark and Peacocks etc
Ideally have worked within a fast paced supplier of ladieswear clothing.
Be able to predict trends
Must be computer literate.
