    Description

    To support the development needs of our customers and the associated commercial and supply chain challenges. This includes ensuring briefs and requests are carried out in accordance with the customer expectations and involves hands on development with coordination of other functions.

    Utilising the EMEA strategy by taking a customer facing and proactive approach to the delivery of new and renovated products. Attending customer presentations and deal directly with customer issues and challenges.

    Working closely with the global R&D community based in many different locations.

    Working with the QSM Team, to develop key operational and best-practice skills within the food manufacturing environment to ensure Quality and Food Safety compliance, supported by documented policies and procedures, including HACCP, Food Fraud and Food Defense

    Experiencing all elements of the Quality Team and gaining practical skills and experience within Quality Systems, Hygiene, Sensory, Quality Engineering and QA Lab techniques and management

    Supporting the Team in prioritizing the activities, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Identifying Continuous Improvement projects and working with cross-functional teams using best-practice manufacturing techniques such as LEAN, Kaizen and SMED techniques to determine root causes and 100-year fixes for Quality and Food Safety Incidents

    Develop an understanding of audit management, customer codes of practice and audit standards

    Understand the theoretical and practical elements of environmental monitoring programmes; hygiene validations; food safety control validations; hygiene management and traceability

    Understand the value of sensory programmes and customer expectations in this area to deliver consistent, high-quality products at all times, including shelf-life validation protocols
