Description

Programme Manager required to work within the NHS, based at a Northern trust. This is a 6-month contract, paying between £400-£600 per day DOE, outside IR35, hybrid working (2 days per week onsite)

Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the organisation's IM&T Strategy and support it through the delivery of Programmes and Projects aligned to strategic goals.

The successful postholder will be a core member of the Informatics management team and work closely with both operational services and IT strategic partners to deliver a wide range of projects and programmes of work.

The person for this role will be a proven leader, have significant communication, project management and technical knowledge and experience.

In addition, they will have a track record of working across multiple stakeholders, building strong relationships todeliver upon their duties and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop mutually supportive relationships with the other heads of department and senior team members to identify and achieve the common goals will be key to the success of the role
Identifying and managing risks
Ensuring the project or programme stays on track and delivers on time
Building, sustaining, and facilitating relationships with project or programme stakeholders

Essential Experience Required:

Successful delivery and implementation of largescale digital programmes and projects across the health care sector
Significant experience of Project and Programme Management using an established project management methodology
Excellent working knowledge of NHS practice, current NHS agenda and healthcare policy
