Health and Safety Manager
£38,000 per annum for 6 months, rising to £40,000
Split between Andover, 2 days a week and High Wycombe, 3 days a week (Generous Mileage allowance)
Permanent

My highly successful and market-leading client is seeking an experienced and self-driven Group Health and Safety Manager.

Successful applicant will maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards to ensure performance is in accordance with ISO 9001:2015and AS9120.


Role:

  • To develop and implement Health and Safety best practice, ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
  • Ensure all relevant risk assessments are reviewed annually and updated as required.
  • Maintain, evaluate, develop and review health and safety policy.
  • Identify and implement employee Health and Safety training needs.
  • First point of contact for Health and Safety queries throughout the business.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety budget.
  • Ensure that High Wycombe and Andover sites work to a common Health and Safety standard.

Experience:


  • A background in Warehouse Health and Safety (desirable).
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements relating to Health and Safety.
  • National General Cerificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Nebosh NG1 & 2) (essential), level 5 or 6 Diploma in Health and Safety (Nebosh, NCRQ, NVQ) (desirable)
  • Experience of Fire Safety Management, Level 3 or 4 fire safety qualification desirable.
  • Proactive and efficient with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
