Manufacturing Production Operative - Sheeter
Main purpose and Scope

To assemble, repair and maintain sheet metal products designed in house to customer specification. Completed efficiently and right first-time accuracy. All finished products are to be accurate to specification. To assemble parts together by bolting, riveting, screwing, sika-flexing, or using special devices such as metal clips. To smooth rough areas, seams, and joints on burred surfaces on the product with a file or grinding wheel.

Responsibilities:

Assemble components from instructions and diagrams ensuring production lines are operating efficiently
Fasten joints together with bolts, rivets, caulks, metal drive clips or bonds
Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff or smooth surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts
Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools
Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are checked prior to use
Ensure the area you work in is clean and clear of any hazards
Use all relevant PPE as determined by the Health and Safety Handbook
