Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Fitter?

Have you worked with pumps, valves, blowers, motors, mechanical seals, gears, or other rotating equipment?

Do you enjoy solving engineering queries?


We have an opportunity for a technical, enthusiastic, and energetic Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitter to join our team, where no two days are the same.


This role offers opportunity to work within a team of highly experienced Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitters in our innovative workshop building a variety of equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Further training is available such as CCNSG, confined space training, and OEM training on components. Progression opportunities within Pump Supply and Repair Group are also available.


Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitter Job Role

  • Full scope of engineered pump overhaul, including assembly, service, testing, and stripping a wide variety of pumps and associated spares.
  • Inhouse work but occasional site work (knowledge of controls and faultfinding advantageous).
  • Flexible working hours may be required at times.
  • Compiling required assembly documentation.
  • Working as part of a busy fitting and disassembly team.

Benefits:


  • Remuneration range: £26.5k £31k plus overtime depending on experience and qualifications

Essential Skills:


  • Good knowledge of tolerances and working to high standards
  • Ability to produce clean driving licence essential

Desirable Skills:


  • Ideally, knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment in industrial, chemical, power generation, Petrochemical, and water industries
  • Need a cando approach flexible working will be required
  • Organised be able to work to agreed time scales
  • Clean and presentable appearance
  • This can be a physically demanding position with some lifting involved, mainly using mechanical lifting equipment
