Description

We are hiring for a Performance tester to join our team in
West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Working model:
Hybrid working(atleast twice a week in onsite)

Type of employment:
Permanent role

Experience Preferred
-
Exposure to setting up and scripting JMeter on cloud platforms (microservices, APIs etc).

Exposure to using the Cloud Applications and databases, as VBL technology stack is fully Cloud.
Experience in interpreting Application Insights stats which is key for Cloud platforms
Experience using Jmeter to record micro services/API based scripts
5+ yrs experience in Non-Functional Testing (Performance, OAT, Security, Failover, Resilience, DR)
5+ yrs of experience in Retail banking(preferred)
Ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to manage time efficiently
Experiences working & communicate with stakeholders
Experience in designing Workload Model as per the volumetrics
Experience in monitoring tools
SPLUNK, GRAFFANA, INSIGHTS
Experience in analysing CPU, Memory Leak, DB Metrics
Experience in context switching & working in multiple projects
Demonstrable experience of Agile Development principles & ceremonies

Key Skills for this role:

5+ yrs of experience in JMeter & able to integrate JMeter tests into Azure Devops pipelines
5+ yrs of Test Automation experience in Python, Jenkins &.NET programming skills
Developing performance testing scripts using Jmeter, Gatling and Loadrunner
Experience in other performance tools such as LoadRunner, Blaze meter,
Producing Non
Functional Test Approach & Test reports
Awareness of security concepts & OWASP tool
Using Postman for testing API endpoints
Develop and execute performance test scripts, debug issues & collate results, capture & analyse performance test metrics and make recommendations to stakeholders Performance Testing
Load testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, Volume Testing, Soak testing, Peak Testing, Spike Testing
Microservice Architecture patterns
Azure Cloud Technologies
Shift Left Testing concepts
Software Testing lifecycles
Experience in testing RESTful & SOAP services
