A popular Roman Catholic Primary School in Lewisham is looking for teaching assistants with
SEN experience, for ad-hoc, daily supply work.

St Saviour's RC Primary School is a supportive and nurturing environment that takes children from Nursery all the way through to Year 6.

They are looking for an adaptable
SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher, supporting and supervising the
children within the classroom.

Although St Saviour's is a mainstream primary school it has a high number of children with autism and other special educational needs.

The school are looking for someone with experience working with children with SEN, who can use their initiative in sometimeschallenging situations, whilst remaining calm and patient.

Roles such as these are challenging but can also be incredibly rewarding.

Essential requirements:

Experience of working with children
Have positive behaviour management skills
Passionate about Children's education and can positively promote inclusion.
A caring and professional manner.
Knowledge of autism and communication difficulties
Be open to learn and committed to any training or CPD offered.
Must have legal right to work in the UK / Subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
