Helpline Advisor

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Salary:
£23,500 - £25,500


Based in Andover, Hampshire with flexibility of some home working
Are you somebody who would love to show you care by using your natural empathy and communication skills to emotionally support others, and help us Beat Macular Disease?

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day.

The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world-class research, and the best advice and support.

To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to beat macular disease forever.


As part of our friendly and compassionate Advice and Information team, you will be helping to provide clear information, emotional support and advice to over 15,000 people every year.


If you have excellent listening skills and the ability to give complex advice and information to others in a way that is caring and shows empathy, then we would love to hear from you.
