Work with line managers to develop Violence Reduction training plans based on effective training needs analysis aligned with business objectives Continuously develop and evaluate the Surrey and Borders Partnership Mental Health and Learning Disability Violence Reduction curriculum and promote this curriculum externally as a proactive tailored solution to violence reduction in these settings.

Ensure fit for purpose solutions to Violence Reduction training are used taking into account models of best practice and best use of resources, including technological solutions Design and deliver appropriate Violence Reduction training initiatives to meet training plans ensuring a rolling programme which is responsive to local needs and the needs of external agencies Lead the development of policies and protocols for physical interventions which reflect current trends and research outcomes Guided by the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Training Standards, modify, deliver and evaluate training in order to solve operational problems related to significant risk of violence and aggression in the workplace Assist in the investigation of complaints and SUIs by acting in the role of Investigating Officer for the Trust To act as the Trust representative, presenting relevant audit and research at national conferences when appropriate
