Senior Accountant

£50,000 - £60,000

London, Hybrid
A Senior Accountant is required for a growing professional services firm focused on alternative investment management.

This is an ideal role for a Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant to work with a varied portfolio of clients including real estate, be their main point of contact and review the work and help with the coaching of junior team members.

Responsibilities include:

Working on the setup of external clients and implementing complex international structures as part of restructuring plans, mergers, and acquisitions
Liaising with external third parties (banks, auditors, legal advisors etc)
Processing/reviewing client payments on a variety of bank platforms
Ensuring effective cash management of client entities and undertaking regular cash reconciliations
Reviewing bookkeeping and reporting for clients
Assisting with the reports of IFRS or FRS 10
Preparation of VAT returns
Attending board and internal shareholders' meetings

Key Requirements:

Finalist or Newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/ CIMA)
Relevant accounting experience preferably in the real estate sector from an audit firm or thirdparty administrator
Experience in management accounts and financial statements preparation and/ or review
Good team player
Strong Excel skills
