Accounts Assistant


Duties:


Daily:
Prepare liquidity analysis - Prepare balance sheet - Check balance sheet and profit & loss -Prepare interest rate analysis - Prepare all other daily reports for use on daily basis and towards month end/management reporting -Reconciliation of nostros and HIB cheques issued

Monthly:
Prepare Management accounts - Pass prepaid, provisions, sundry debtor and sundry creditor entries and reconcile all accounts - Pass fixed asset entries and reconcile all accounts - Pass entry for dealers profit Monthly spreadsheets in preparation for annual tax returns - Calculation of monthly VAT provision - Calculation of monthly corporation tax provision - Reconciliation of staff loan accounts and season ticket loan accounts - Post Rep Office expenses - Monthly FSA returns

Quarterly:
Prepare and submit VAT return - Calculate and pay quarterly corporation tax payment - Quarterly Bank of England returns Quarterly FSA returns

Bi-annually: Prepare and revise budget Bi-annual FSA returns

Other Duties:
Reply to audit requests - Ad-hoc spreadsheets and reports as requested by General Management and Accountant - Any other task relevant to the Department's activities reasonably assigned by the Accountant or General Management

Regulatory Reporting:
specifically those for Bank of England and PRA
