We're looking for a Network Performance Officer to join our new commercial hub based at our offices on Anlaby Road, Hull
:


If you're a lateral-minded thinker who loves playing with big data and top-notch tech, and wants to solve complex problems, all whilst keeping our customer in mind, then this role could be the perfect fit for you
:


Working for our fantastic Head of Commercial, you would be:


  • Creating bus timetables and converting into bus workings
  • Registering bus services with the local authority and regulatory authorities
  • Maintaining contract registers and Go-Ahead standard route costing model
  • Leading network growth initiatives through analysis, review, and route performance
  • A key contact for internal stakeholders and maintaining local authority stakeholder relationships at officer level to proactively promote the network development agenda
  • Presenting network or route development proposals, and tender bids to the Head of Commercial for sign off
  • Providing support to the operations team to improve and maintain the punctuality of services
  • Programming destination blinds and next stop software
  • Supporting the Lead Commercial Officer with duty compilation and rostering.
  • Preparation of internal and external reports
  • Supporting the implementation of CitySwift across East Yorkshire to enhance on time performance

  • Commercially aware
  • Innovative
  • Understand bus scheduling processes
  • A good communicator
  • Proficient in the knowledge of the East Yorkshire Bus Network
  • Able to use of Microsoft products such as Excel, and Word
On top of that, we'd be super impressed if you have the following (but don't worry if you don't, we can train you for these)

  • Experience in the use of industry systems such as
  • EP Morris
  • Omnibus
  • Hanover Displays desirable.
  • VIX
  • Understanding of relevant rules covering bus service registrations and drivers' hours.
