Description

My client in the Rotherham area are looking for time served Plater / Welders.

The company is a leading sub-contract manufacturer looking to expand the department to support its market growth.

Main

Responsibilities:

The role has day to day tasks including:

Reviewing engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
Interpreting customer requirements from engineering drawings, sketches and written/verbal descriptions.
Communicating with Project Managers during production.
Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Company Handbook.
Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
Communicating at all levels

Working Days - Monday 7am - 4pm
