Description
As Portfolio Service Lead/ Service Owner you will have responsibility for being the Voice of Service in an Investment Strategy domain.
You will need to engage with the relevant product/platform owner and other business stakeholders to achieve this by representingservice priorities in that team.
The SO is also responsible for the Service Catalogue entry and for ensuring that reporting and metrics on the performance of the service.
- As a member of the Portfolio Leadership Team you are a key partner in ensuring that Value is created by our Products and Services
- You represent all the Services delivered from product teams within the Change Portfolio and ensure that
- The Value of the Products and Services is defined and understood
- A balance between change/ development and the running of Products and Services is achieved
- Services across the Change Portfolio are appropriately designed and managed for Experience, Functionality, Performance, Cost, Risk, and Agility
- Ensure that major changes to or introduction of new Services within the Portfolio are designed, transitioned, and managed consistently and effectively
- Ensure that services are accurately represented in the Service Portfolio and Catalogue
- Is a leader for Service Owners and Service Operations Managers within the Change Portfolio to ensure that services are well managed and consistently deliver Value to the institution
- Ensure that Services have the right performance metrics and that these are appropriately measured and managed
- Act as the Ultimate escalation point for major incidents, user feedback and complaints.
- Ensure that Vendors and Partners effectively cocreate service outcomes and value
- Ensure modern processes and ways of working across service teams
- Ensure that the right enabling tooling and technology is available and used for effective provision of services
Experience:
- Experienced IT Service Manager / Service Owner
- Stakeholder management (technical and business)
- People / team management
- Vendor management
- Time / priority management
