Sales Manager - Premium / Luxury Car Dealership


Location:
Aberdeen


Salary:
Up to £46,000 basic salary + bonus - OTE Up to £85,000

Our client has a rare opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their Premium/ Luxury Car Dealership in Aberdeen.

They are looking for a highly motivated and successful automotive professional who has proven experience managing a successful and driven sales team.


The Sales Manager must have the ability to understand the numbers and drive team performance using energy, skill and unbridled passion.


Sales Manager duties:


  • Achieves new sales and F&I commission target.
  • Develops sales action plans to ensure sales and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Formulates sales targets for each sales team member, supports and motivates them to achieve.
  • Works with Business Manager to maintain status as FSA approved advisor completing FSA requirements.
  • Manages all car stock, new sales, ensures profit is maximised and achieves an acceptable return on stock investment.
  • Ensures the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product, promotional and marketing activities. Ensures team display all advertising and Point of Sale literature as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Consults with customers to establish their needs, resolves any complaints professionally and calmly
  • Reviews pricing policy, discounts and tradein dealing to ensure profitability level is maintained.
  • Measures departmental sales performance, credit and finance commission, outstanding debtor information weekly and takes the appropriate action to ensures targets are being met.
  • Improves customer satisfaction by developing and implementing a strategy with the sales team.

What you will need:


  • Experience within the motor industry at Sales Management or a Sales Controller ready for the next step
  • Commercial awareness and financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation and discipline.
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and manage the sales team.
