The Yard is a leading Scottish charity working with children and young people aged 0-25 with Additional Support Needs, and their families, through adventure play sessions in Edinburgh, Dundee and Kirkcaldy.

We offer creative and inclusive play experiences in a well-supported environment, alongside wraparound support for the whole family. We provide a varied programme including youth clubs, respite, early years, schools and family play sessions. We believe in fostering communities of friendship and peer support without judgement.

Job Details
This role will share the responsibility for financial administration across our organisation with another part
- time post holder. The 2 incumbents will work together to provide excellent day to day financial administration to support our organisation while maintaining good practice in segregating duties.

The post holder will be supported and report to our Finance Manager.

They will work closely with the operations, facilities and fundraising teams and interact with stakeholders such as families, local councils, other charities and funders.

Essential qualities and experience:

A minimum of 2 years as a finance assistant or something similar
Confident and proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office
