Slough / Brussels,
UK / Belgium.

About the role

In this role, the Market Research & Insights Lead will drive and facilitate customer (Patient, HCP, Payer) centric insight generation across served business partners; At global, regional/local level as required.

The role has a focus upon the UCB immunology portfolio.

He/she will work closely with their business partners and other insights colleagues to define the business questions and lead the market research to drive actionable insights for UCB.

The role doesn't imply people management.

Who you'll work with

This role will work in tight collaboration with other insights colleagues within our 'Integrated Insights and Analytics' matrix structure; particularly with those colleagues within the immunology Hubs, which have oversight of the broader generation of immunology insights, beyond market research (eg from Advanced analytics, business analytics, real world evidence, medical affairs etc).

There is also a need to closely partner with business stakeholders to effectively deliver market research which answers business questions.

What you'll do
-
Strategic Leadership and Partnership. Provide strategic leadership and partnership on market research driven insights to the commercial, medical and market access business stakeholders; Ensure a trusting relationship that respects impartiality of the market research and insights role.
-
Collaboration. Ensuring strong communication across relevant teams (global/regional/local, across functions) Drive tight coordination with the other Insights colleagues and teams to maximize learnings, best practice sharing and alignment on priorities. Demonstrate strong vendor team management skills to ensure the research is maximized.
-
Drive the execution of global and/or regional/ local insights research
plans as needed, according to priorities for the immunology business; this will be done in collaboration with other insights colleague's teams through coordination and interpretation leading to impactful outputs/ read-outs.
-
Championing the customers' (patients, HCP, payers) 'voices', ensuring that these are at the heart of decision making for operational teams.
-
Proactively keeping up to date with industry changes, methodologies, tools, and techniques and sharing this with the wider team.
-
Demonstrating flair for not just presenting findings but also in connecting & understanding, in order to drive clear thinking and actions. This includes the ability to synthesize multiple data sources and make critical connections to get to the 'Why" behind the "What".
-
Driving actionable solutions: obsessed with the 'so what' & the "why" behind the "what", not just the research 'answer'. When it comes to Insight generation, he/she can turn observations into insights, and insights into action through using best practice approaches, frameworks, and tools. Ensure "impact" is consistently being monitored along all projects.
