Job Description:
- Manage, plan and monitor logistics, storage and distribution of incoming and outgoing inventory
- Recommend and implement ways of improving warehouse system and operational upgrades
- Daytoday team management to ensure operational objectives are met in line with key KPI's such as productivity, picking accuracy and inventory control
- Conduct performance reviews with Warehouse Associates and overseeing the performance of subordinate staff.
- Colleague recruitment and retention recruit, coach and develop colleagues & team leaders
- Manage employee relations cases in line with Company policies and procedures such as investigations, disciplinaries and absence management
- Liaising with the Account Management team as well as freight forwarders to ensure every endeavour is made to achieve customer and operational requirements.
- Input to warehouse cost budgeting process
- Health & Safety legal obligations adherence to Company policies and procedures and ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhered to
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience of managing teams of 15+ within a fastmoving warehouse operation
- Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management
- Experience of planning and effectively executing a warehouse operation. Dealing with all issues and challenges as they arise
- IT literate with MS Office and comfortable interpreting MIS
- A natural problem solver, able to find solutions outside of the status quo
- Good judgment in decisionmaking ability to take responsibility for decisions and articulate reasons for decisions made in a transparent way whilst dealing with challenge effectively
- Exposure to highvolume, highpressure environment with a resilient attitude and a determination to succeed
- The ability to empower individuals and teams to act on customer feedback and insight.
- Effective time management, prioritising and multitasking skills

Salary:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
