Currently, in Exeter, we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist whose responsibility will be to service and support external Channels and New Business activities.

Building strong relationships with our Commercial Vehicle Business Unit customers globally, you will perform a variety of pre-sales-related activities including sales support, pricing, quoting, financial reporting, business reviews, presentations, research, and problem resolution.

In addition, this role will allow you to work in a hybrid working model.


About the job:

  • Provide support to the global customers and sales teams
  • Cooperate with global parties involved concerning complaints and claims
  • Manage Pricing and Quotations
  • Work with crossfunctional teams
  • Keep track of sales numbers and turnover, financial reports
  • Handle the entire inside sales process from proposal to close
  • Reach or exceed sales quotas
  • Cooperate worldwide with other colleagues
  • Customer support on the phone about 15% of the time, no cold calling is required

About you:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, any additional language (German, French, Italian, etc.) would be a benefit Analytical and attention to detail skills Customerfocused with the ability to multitask and prioritize Proficient in MS Office skills, MS Excel (MS PowerPoint would be a plus) Experience working in a crosscultured environment would be beneficial Experience with manufacturing companies preferred A university degree is preferable
