Description

The post holder will support the provision of high quality patient care by working with Management teams to effectively deploy all temporary staffing groups to meet the needs of the services, whilst ensuring compliance with the European Working Time Directive and reducing spend.

This will involve close liaison with junior doctors, consultants, ward/Dept. managers, service and management teams, NHS Professionals and NHS Improvement approved external agency suppliers.

The post holder will be responsible for the administration processes to support the management of the on-call rotas for junior and Consultant staffThe post holder will provide day-to-day support to the Clinical Divisions in providing a high standard of cover/care by effective maximisation of medical and surgical staff resources and a responsibility for initiating the necessary action in order to maintain service requirements.
