A great opportunity for an experienced branch co-ordinator in a non-for-profit organisation that impacts people in the local community.


Full Job Description


To bridge the gap between branch and head office staff whilst having interpersonal skills and ability to influence staff at all levels.


Key Accountabilities:


  • To meet, exceed and deliver defined business objectives in the designated Branches through the effective management of the designated teams.
  • Conduct staff one to ones, reviews & annual appraisals.
  • Maintain audit & compliance standards ensuring all policies & procedures are adhered to.
  • Identify staff training needs & prepare training & development plans.
  • Produce timely monthly reports & any adhoc management information as requested.
  • Monitor branch holidays & sickness absence providing/arranging cover as necessary.
  • Ensure Branch Procedure Manuals are current & up to date in line with FCA regulations.
  • Maintain the branch treasury controls whilst ensuring accurate records are kept in line with current procedures.
  • Effectively coach the team to improve skills.
  • Create and maintain an environment in which the team is continually developing improving knowledge, skills and professionalism.
  • Through praise, recognition and encouragement; develop and maintain a high degree of motivation and job fulfilment within the section ensuring staff turnover figures are kept to a minimum.
  • Challenge existing practices and methods, proposing solutions to promote a high level of member and staff satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Essential:


  • A level standards of education OR a relevant management qualification
  • Proven track record in staff management
  • The ability to influence staff at all levels
  • Demonstration of a high level of initiative and forward thinking
  • Well developed Financial Skills
  • Well developed IT skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
