If you are a Graduate with a Speech and Language Therapy related qualification with plans to become a professional Speech and Language Therapist, Educational Psychologist or even an SEN Teacher then Ortus Recruitment have an ideal opportunity for you.

Speech and Language TA/Teaching Assistant Specification:

  • Graduated with a Speech and Language (SaLT), Psychology or related degree.
  • Strong academic background.
  • A genuine aspiration towards building a career in the education sector.
  • Experience with children.
  • Comfortable supporting SEN.
  • Proactive, reliable and flexible attitude.
About the Speech and Language TA/ Teaching Assistant role:

  • Working across the school supporting pupils' learning.
  • Responsible for working 1:1 with pupils who have Speech and Language development needs.
  • Small group & 1:1 intervention work.
  • Supported directly by the SENCO.
