What's in it for you?
Are you looking for a challenging role that will make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational and disabilities (SEND)?

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the SEND Travel Team, working in collaboration with other internal teams and external partners to review and shape current home to school transport provision, to meet the needs of Dorset's children and young people with SEND.

What you will be doing

You will be working as part of the wider Dorset Travel team which is a vibrant and dynamic team, providing travel support to families.

You will play a key role in delivering our Travel Transformation programme, which is aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the team to deliver better outcomes to families.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a fixed term 2-year contract, shaping the future of home to school transport support for children with SEND.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a SEND environment, such as a school, health setting or Local Authority.

You will be a great communicator, able to build positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including health and community partners, educational settings, parents, carers and children with SEND.
