Job Summary
- Manage the demand planning process for assigned business unit(s), geography, or product portfolio
- The demand planning process encompasses liaising with the commercial organization on the requirements to meet business plans and targets, translating market requirements into the demand signal, the balancing and management of inventory and driving the marketlevel S&OP processes
- This is a critical role within the global and regional supply chain organization to support the business's revenue, profit targets and operations targets

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Demand Planning and S&OP Process
- Manage the market's demand plans over the planning horizon to identify trends, issues and corrective actions, through demand analysis, demand scenarios, reconciliation with financials and commercial collaboration
- Accountable for driving the market level S&OP processes
- Owner of the forecasting tool including all data inputs per the update cycles
- Primary supply chain contact for the markets in their area of responsibility
- Actively develop the relationships with markets commercial and financial teams to build market knowledge over the 1824 months planning horizon
- Interact with Markets on Tender processes to ensure products in bids can be supplied
- Own, monitor and publish performance metrics & reports e.g., Business Unit dashboard and status reports. Includes development and maintaining KPI's
- With market insights, develop and implement strategies to balance and optimize forecast accuracy, inventory coverage and customer service
- Accountable for finished goods inventory for the Business Units/Markets assigned
- Review excess inventory and obsolescence and provide reactive and proactive steps to reduce risk with close coordination with the commercial and financial teams
- Identify areas for improved efficiency in service and inventory, and align SAP parameters accordingly
- Actively manage the Business Unit product portfolio, coordinate new product launches and end of life activities
- Accountable for systems being aligned during launch and discontinuation processes
- Reduce risk by communicating clearly with commercial teams by identifying deviations from launch or discontinuation plans
- Lead and/or participate on projects including cost savings and continuous improvement projects
- Act as backup to other Business Unit Demand Planners during vacation, business travel or other times on an as needed basis

- Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial functions (Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Sales), Quality, Regulatory. This includes interacting with global functions and teams and individuals in different countries
Travel Requirements
- The position may involve travel up to 15% of the time.
- International travel is possible. Most trips will include overnight travel.
About You
- Bachelor's degree minimum. Preferably in supply chain, operations management or engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong Experience in Supply Chain preferred
- Proven Background and experience in a Demand Planning/S&OP role
- SAP and IBP modules experience highly preferred transactions and reports
- Experience in the S&OP/IBP process
- APICS Certification highly preferred (current certification with CPIM or CSCP)
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential
