The purpose of the role of
Production Assembly/Small Machine Operative is to produce goods through running small machinery, general assembly, operating small machines ans packing and re-packing of all ranges of company products in accordance with company's production planning to agreed specification within economic time scales.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

Operate small production machines and comply with machine maintenance schedules.
Labelling, folding, packaging, shrink wrapping and counting company products.
Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
Follow batch orders & monitor work practices to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
Adhere to quality procedures as in process instructions and process records.
Work in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
Work as an individual or as part of a team, in both cases to ensure optimum efficiency
Report to Production Manager in event of any problems that are or could prevent efficient or continual production.
The ability to communicate effectively and confidently, both written and oral at all levels.
Able to work on own initiative.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Able to follow instructions.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Willing to learn.
You will be organised and a quick thinker.
Possess a good eye for detail and quality.
The ability to work well under pressure is also essential for this role.
Must be flexible to work extra hours and change shifts when required.
