Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Conference Recorder in Beford.


We are looking for a Conference Recorder to provide clerical support within the Conference and Review Team, to support the Independent Child Protection Chairpersons facilitating all aspects of child protection conferences.

Where identified to support the Independent Reviewing Officer in their role.

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include

  • To support arrangements for all Child Protection conferences in accordance with LSCB guidelines and administrative operational procedures as requested by Team Leader.
  • To attend and minute all Conferences in sufficient detail including medical and legal to ensure that all statements made and opinions expressed are accurately recorded.
  • To ensure that the Child Protection Plan/Child in Need Plan is sent out within 24 hours of the Conference.
  • To produce a draft of the minutes for approval by the Conference Chair Person.
  • To distribute the minutes within timescales to all those nominated to attend the conferences and to any other agency as directed by the Conference Chair Person.
  • To cover, other duties of a similar nature and level of responsibility, as may be required. Such may include providing secretarial support for the local authority designated officer and the preparation for and recording of joint evaluation meetings, and the production and dissemination of minutes taken.
