An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Radiology Department for a Booking Clerk

This is a rewarding and varied job with the opportunity to develop your skills.


The main purpose of this job is to be responsible for the management of the waiting lists, to actively monitor, maintain and validate them, ensuring the data is relevant and accurate.

The position is 15 hours per week which can include evening, weekends and Bank Holiday work as required.

  • To work together with other staff to promote a smooth and efficient work flow through the Department.
  • To be proactive and forward thinking to ensure correct management of waiting lists.
  • To participate in a range of shifts, to include evening and weekend shifts as required in line the the demands and requirements of the service.
  • To assist the Radiology Admin Lead in undertaking regular reviews of the office protocols and guidelines by providing advice on changes in working processes.
  • To undertake any other clerical duties that may be necessary for the speedy progression of both results and patient through the department to include secretarial support as required.
