Description
To support the Care Group Speciality Managers (clinical and non-clinical) in the effective utilisation of their medical workforce resource.

To have responsibility for specific areas of work particularly relating to the development of rotas, management of medical staff rotations, rota management and sourcing of medical locums to ensure effective resource levels at all times.


To ensure full use of the digital technology available to manage the processes and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Trust Policies and Procedures.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Medical Staffing Team.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated people preferably with previous medical staffing experience to work as part of a team providing a Rota service and support to medical staff and senior managers.


We are a busy department with competing demands so looking for those able to manage their time effectively and work to deadlines.


The post involves the provision of a robust operational Medical Staffing service to the Trust with responsibility for specific areas of work particularly relating to medical staff rotations/recruitment, rota management; sourcing of medical locums to ensure effective staffing levels at all times.

You will gain a wide understanding of how an acute hospital functions with regular interaction with the Multi-Disciplinary teams.

The successful applicant must possess:

- a good standard of education to GCSE Maths and English grades A-C or equivalent
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with individuals at all levels
- ability to present ideas both verbally and in writing
- ability to plan ahead, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
