Lecturer in Film Production

School of Creative Industries

Role can be offered on a full or part time basis

Based at Park Campus, Cheltenham

The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Film, Television and Animation alongside those in Music and Sound, Communications and Journalism.

We have a reputation for providing high quality industry-linked education, through partnerships with Screenskills and a range of production houses and tech innovators.

We have trainer status from AVID, Adobe, DaVinci and Pro-tools and we attract talented and motivated students who are ready to move into the workplace as soon as they graduate.

Staff in the School of Creative Industries work in specialist teams to deliver the curriculum, develop their own individual and collaborative practice and engage in research.

As part of an active creative community they will also have opportunities across the school and university to collaborate with others, including external partners.

We are looking for film makers who can bring their individual expertise to our multi
- award winning, Film Production Course, in particular we are offering opportunities for lecturers

with the following specialist knowledge:
Cinematography, Production Design, Scriptwriting,

Producing, Documentary Film Making, Pre-Production expertise.

All staff are supported in their personal development whether through a teaching qualification, professional courses or the annual allocation of research and scholarly activity time.

We take a flexible approach to hiring staff to ensure we bring the right mix of professionals to the team, so these posts are offered full or part time.
