We're currently recruiting a Civils Supervisor for a leading civils company who are working on the Openreach network in the Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire.
Civils Supervisor
Job Purpose and Scope:
Oversee schemes packages to fulfil the engineering requirements of projects realising a continual monitoring of the progress and quality of the works.
Duties:
- To manage the daily activities of the site team, in respect Of Production, Health and Safety, Quality and Programme.
- To manage the costs associated with the works, and any variations/DFE's should they arise.
- Lead weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works / action points.
- Preparation of purchase orders, works orders and associated documents.
- Liaison with the Client and their agents
- Review of ongoing works with a view to highlight potential issues
- Supervision of day to day project delivery within geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement
Who we are looking for:
Essential:
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation's
- All Openreach craft associated Skills
- First Aid proficient
- Experience in managing Openreach civil works
- Excellent communication and Staff Management skills
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to organise others
- Full UK driver's license
- Attention to H&S matters and Quality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once

Salary:
£200.00-£220.00 per day
