Description
Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Group Financial Controller for their client based close to Bishop Stortford.

This role will work closely with the CFO and stakeholders, playing a key part in strategic acquisitions and development of the business.

This role will play a part in financial reporting, control and compliance.

Within this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the financial reporting and control framework across the group.


  • Producing and updating of the Group Finance Manual, reporting, forecasting and budgeting timetables
  • Consolidation and reporting of Monthly Group management accounts, Budgets and forecasts, along with Group Statutory Accounts and interim results
  • Group Annual Report production and statutory accounts production for subsidiaries
  • Implementation of a consolidation system for the production of consolidated monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
  • Cash forecasting
  • Production of tax packs
  • Management of the year end audit
  • Financial accounting and reporting
  • Responsible for the general ledger
Ideal experience Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA

  • Ideally experience in a practice environment
