Residential Service Charge Accountant - Hybrid

Southend, Essex and surrounding areas

Salary Circa £30,000 per annum - Experience dependant

This is a great opportunity for a
Residential Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established property management company specialising in leasehold, block, and estate management.

Operating throughout the country and working with many regionaland national developers.

The Role:

You will join their local team and be responsible for the
production of residential service charge accounts, liaising with clients on
all property matters and assisting with complex queries from Property Managers.

Duties:

You will ensure RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code is adhered to and attend AGMs and other meetings with clients as required.
You will support the Property Managers and Branch Managers in the local Branch and produce yearend certificates and explanations with final accounts.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Experience in Residential service charge accounts

AAT Level

Desired
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of leasehold property accounting
Knowledge of lease interpretation, apportionment, schedules, balancing and reserve fund compliance
Knowledge of section 20B legislation
Previous experience with Tramps system
Desirable
IRPM or other industry qualifications
Desirable
Previous experience in Residential Property Management field
