If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Motor Vehicles Tutor to work at a reputable College in Hull.

Motor Vehicles Tutor
Start Date: 21st August
Contract Duration:
Until at least Christmas 2023 (with potential for extension or permanent position)

College in Hull
Payment:
£25,000 - £35,000
Requirements:
-
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is not essential, but a
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) qualification would be ideal.
- A minimum of a
Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles is required.
Industry experience in the automotive sector is highly desirable, as it brings real-world knowledge to the classroom.
- A
Level 3 teaching qualification or a strong desire to work towards one is essential to ensure effective and engaging teaching practices.
Duties:
As a Motor Vehicles Tutor, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cover a wide range of topics within the motor vehicle curriculum.
Providing hands-on practical sessions to enhance students' skills and understanding of motor vehicle technology.

Monitoring and assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback to drive their development.

Supporting students on their academic journey, offering guidance and pastoral care as needed.

Collaborating with colleagues and management to contribute to the college's overall academic and social objectives.

Staying up-to-date with industry advancements, ensuring that your teaching reflects the latest developments in the automotive sector.

Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance, and any additional support provided.
