Seeking- Portfolio Manager
Hybrid
- London/Waterloo
- Delivery focused with a customer mindset and vast experience in managing multiple, crossfunctional teams.
- A commercial mindset enabled by understanding of business, consumer, and technology.
- Ability to shape and translate a technology enabled vision into delivery of successful business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to engage and influence up to senior executive level in a complex organization.
- Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with senior business stakeholders.
- Resilience, courage, and the willingness to challenge and manage expectations.
- Experience in developing business cases and in managing IT budgets through the IT demand management and planning process.
- Strong leader and team player. Able to motivate, collaborate, proactively communicate and share understanding and experience within a team.
Requirements:
- Background in Mergers & Acquisition processes is preferred.
- Experience or background in program management preferred (indirect accountability).
- Previous experience of pre deal assessment or post deal company integration is desired.
- 10+ years of work experience.
- Experience in developing business cases.
- Experience in working with functional support partners like legal, finance, contracting would be beneficial.
- Resultsoriented, ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to deliver through others.
- Has a greater risk appetite to be able to drive new and innovative proposition, be able to identify those risks and ensure that the business understands, accepts and signs up to those risks.
- Can learn quickly and is adaptable.
- Innate curiosity about consumer problems and ways of resolving them for commercial reward through technological innovation
- Balanced commercial, business, and technical skill
- Strong empathetic characteristics, with collaborative style, and has the ability to build strong and trusted relationships and networks
- Ability to inspire others to action and drive quality and pace in equal measure to enable successful outcomes
