Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Material Schduler who is passionate about providing an excellent purchasing service to join the Supply Chain Team at this manufacturing giant based in Runcorn.

The purpose of the role is to purchase goods that are cost effective and meet the needs of a growing business.

Typical responsibilities within the role of Material Scheduler will be to:

Raise purchase orders in line with business requirements and expedite accordingly.
Maintain accurate and up to date supplier records.
Work with internal stakeholders to set goods and services specifications.
Ensure effective communications with suppliers.
Have material scheduling experience gained within a manufacturing or fast paced environment.
Ideally have experience of using ERP/MRP systems.
Have excellent IT skills.
Be a good communicator.
Be able to build strong working relationships with suppliers.
