Hampton Gardens is an 11-19 free school which opened in September 2017 to an initial intake of 180 Year 7 students. When full, the school will accommodate 1200 students in years 7-11 and 300 students in Sixth Form.

Student Welfare Officer


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Student Welfare Officer to join our school in a new role which has been created to help our fantastic pastoral team.


This is a great opportunity to support the team with completing Early Help Assessments (EHA's) and other referrals to ensure students get timely support.

We work closely with Peterborough and Cambridge Local Authorities and regularly are commended for the support we give our students.

The pastoral team is one of the best in Peterborough and has developed a range of skills. Support will be given to help you develop your existing skills. A proactive approach to self-development and identification of training needs will help you improve your skillset.


This is a permanent position of 32.5 hours per week and is for term time only plus 2 staff training days in September and/or January.


Working Hours:

8:15am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday _(with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break)_ hours per week


Salary:


Student Welfare Officer (Grade 9)
Full time salary (52 weeks)

From:
£31,099 to: £34,723

Actual salary (32 hrs / term time only + 2 days)

From:
£23,033 to: £25,71- Possess the ability to inspire and motivate, and who have a passion for teaching and learning.
