Description

Our client based in Farnborough is looking for a BPSS cleared Electronics Assembler / Proto-Type Wirer to join their team on a contract basis.

Our client produce work alongside their customers in engineering-led industries which include, custom
- metalwork engineering and electro-mechanical integration.


Responsibilities:


  • Build, assemble and test electronics assets, including electromechanical, surface mount and throughhole components
  • Faultfinding at the top level and down to component level. Rework of PCB assemblies when required.
  • Electronics testing, calibration, failure analysis and report writing.
  • Maintain accurate reports of rework and testing activities.
  • Execute a range of engineering tests, from setup to running and recording data.

Skills:


  • Experience building electronic devices.
  • Familiar with the use of electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc
  • Throughhole and surface mount soldering experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and schematics.
  • A keen interest in electronics.
  • Flexible, multitaskingcapable mindset.
  • Programming proficiency, especially in Python, is a strong advantage.

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Full-time

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
