About the role:_

I am looking on behalf of a wonderful primary school for a part-time enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. This role will be part-time, 2 or 3 days a week working during the week.


You will need to be a confident TA who is willing to work 1:1 with the children, listening to them read or read to them.

You will also need to be able to help the children engage & participate in lessons/activites. This includes providing extra help to the children in the class who need extra support to complete tasks.


We are looking for an ethusiastic TA who will enjoy helping to take the children on school trips & help with school sports events.

You will need to be someone who is proactive in the classroom, as your role may involve supervising group activities whilst the teacher is completing admin tasks.


You will need excellent verbal & written communication skills as you will be working very closely with the class Teacher.

You will help keep track of the children's developnment progress and report back to the teacher & parents.


As part of your role it is your responsibility to keep the children safe, this includes being aware of any safeguarding concerns which you must report back to the designated safeguarding lead.

You must keep a safe & happy environment by clearing away materials & equipjment after lessons/activities.

  • T_he Head teacher would like a talent, supportive and caring teaching assistant for their KS1 class. They would like someone who will be supportive towards the children & fellow staff members, you will need the ability to build good working relationships.

£65.00-£85.00 per day
