Description

Due to fantastic company expansion, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join one of our successful clients based in Kelvedon, near Colchester.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Finance team with plenty of variation to the role, within a professional yet friendly environment.


Responsibilities to include:

  • Answering Incoming calls
  • Assisting in client queries
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Credit checking
  • Processing payments
  • Chasing overdue debt
  • Fuel card ordering
  • Input new data on bespoke system
  • Reconciling supplier invoices
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Invoicing
  • Sage duties
  • Support the finance team with adhoc tasks as needed

Skills Required:

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Sage 50 (desirable)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines


There is free on-site parking and due to the location of the role, a full driving licence and your own transport is preferred.

Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary dependent on experience is £23,000 to £28,000.
