Education Access Officer

SO1 - £30,151 - £32,020 pa (pro-rata for term-time)

1 x 37 hours per week (Permanent and Term Time Only)

1 x 37 hours per week (Temporary for 12 Months and Term Time Only)

Based at Margaret McMillan Tower (Hybrid Working)
The Education Access Team is a vibrant, welcoming and supportive team. We support EU migrants, Refugee and Asylum Seeker, Traveller & vulnerable children in accessing school places. This role means you will be working within identified school settings to provide support, advocacy and guidance to families.


You will undertake parent and family group and 1-1 support to improve the outcomes for children and families and create strategies to reduce children missing in education.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with an "eye for detail", who is a strong team player and enjoys meeting new people from across the world, understanding the difficulties many of these families face prior to arriving in Bradford.
