This is a brand new opportunity to join a small, but multi-sited firm of accountants based in Canterbury as a Senior Accountant.

As a Senior Accoutnant or Accounts Senior, you will report directly into the partner and be responsible for looking after a clientportfolio, and supporting the partner with the day to day running of the practice.


  • Manage your own client portfolio made up of sole traders, partnerships and small Ltd companies.
  • Accounts preparation for your client base
  • Personal and business tax compliance
  • Reviewing bookkeeping, CIS and VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties
  • Providing clients with basic tax planning and advice
  • Supporting a small team with their personal development

Requirements:


  • You will have 3+ years experience working within a practice environment.
  • Experience of Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  • Studying, Qualified, or qualified by experience.
