The Client:


My client is an award winning, well established design studio, working in areas of digital media, design and creative solutions.

They combine specialist experience in web, screen, mobile and touch-interactive technologies to provide end-to-end creative solutionsin retail, QSR, corporate, leisure and other sectors expanding in gaming and real work interactive experiences.


The role:


They are looking for an excited and motivated front end developer to join their expanding, diverse and progressive studio team.

This role will be hands-on from the very start, and as such requires an experienced and engaging coder who can think creativelyand work to both tight timescales and project expectations.

This opportunity will be based in their office with remote and flexible working outside of the office environment encouraged.


Requirements:


  • Strong communication skills working within a team and engaging with clients on a onetoone basis.

Skills, experience and qualifications:


  • Javascript
  • Fluent in the very latest HTML & CSS practices;
  • Knowledge of & VueCLI or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of & NPM;
  • APIs and working with JSON format;
  • Comfortable in a code repository environment (git/bitbucket);
  • Familiar with principles of cloud hosting/functions (Firebase/GCP);
  • Ability to manage multiproject and multitask delivery with attention to detail and focus on successful delivery
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;


  • Strong timemanagement skills

  • Work well under pressure with quick turnaround/short deadlines

Nice to have (But not really essential):

  • Experience building microservices
  • Experience working with business intelligence data and machine learning
  • Good working knowledge OOP PHP/MySQL and MVC architecture
  • Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (any, would be useful)
  • Knowledge of Unity
  • Previous experience within a digital agency
  • Any exposure to the food & beverage, retail, hospitality and corporate comms market
