About the role
You'll be responsible for administering the systems and processes for the procurement function here at Drax.

This is an exciting role within our newly created Procurement Performance team and will see you operating in our Global business.


Day to day you'll ensure the provision of regular, trusted, timely data is delivered to the procurement teams and their customers to enable action to be taken to drive value and improved outcomes from our supplier relationships.

Key to success in this role will be ensuring the effective implementation and operation of support processes and procedures. Identifying areas for improvement / streamlining processes (including systems) on a continuous basis.


You'll have a natural flair for communication and will collaborate with wider procurement team to ensure good quality data is front of mind in all administration processes.

You'll be the Procurement Process & Systems champion and will be the 'go to' for any Process & Systems related training and delivery within the team.


About you

You'll need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Office products, demonstrating strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel and be able to work under pressure and to fixed timescales.


You'll build lasting and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and will have the ability to work with complexity and be solutions focused with a consultative approach.

A proven track record of comfortably challenging the status quo to improve processes is also key in this role.


Excellent organisational and written communication skills are essential in the role, and you'll need to demonstrate a proven ability to communicate confidently with all stakeholders within the business.
