To be part of an Award Winning Service delivering drop in and brief support to young people within East Sussex.


The scope of the role includes:

  • Overseeing staff and providing support during the opening hours of the project, with particular responsibility for managing presentations with complex health and social care needs, including those service users presenting with higher levels of risk.
  • Conducting triage of young people who access the project, demonstrating an understanding of wellbeing issues affecting young people aged and to offer signposting and advice where required by facilitating sessions and individual activities.
  • Information gathering to allow effective multiagency support planning, to assess and manage risk in collaboration with the services user, project staff and partnership agencies.
  • Taking a lead to ensure there is a continuing contribution to the development of approaches in working with young people with support needs. This includes mental health, wellbeing, education, employment and training and homelessness.
  • Undertaking any other tasks commensurate with the grading of the post.
