Description

The postholder will be required to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to consultants within the Child Health Department.

The role will involve acting as a Personal Assistant to the consultants. you will be accountable for the day
- to-day management of your own Consultants clinical and non-clinical workload.

An essential part of the role is the ability to manage and prioritise own workload without direct supervision including diary management, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries, typing minutes of meetings and random quality checking of typist work.

Other duties may include word processing, keyboard skills, audio-typing, use of G2 voice recognition system, data processing, information technology, communication and organisational skills.

Holiday cover for other Personal Assistants will also be a requirement of the post.
