    Job title: HGV Mechanic Apprentice

    Description

    We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) technician team as an apprentice.

    Job Description:


    The successful candidate will assist our workshop staff in the day-to-day running of the HGV maintenance department, working towards the provision of a well-maintained internal vehicle fleet.

    • Servicing and inspections
    • Fault finding and diagnostic work
    • Removal, repair and replacement of components


    Training & Qualifications:


    This four-year apprenticeship includes three years completing an HGV Technician course leading to S/NVQ level 3 qualification. Block release training at college is included within this programme.

    A further year is spent gaining valuable experience working full time in our workshops with ongoing development opportunities for specialised training and qualifications including fridge technician, f-gas handling and tail lift inspection.
