Hours: 08.30am to 4.30pm or 09.30am to 5.30pm

Office Based role with a potential to travel to the Chelsea based office once a week.
A great opportunity has presented itself working for a client i am representing in Leatherhead.

The office and grounds are second to none and they are offering training on their systems within the role to help you get up to speed.


Role Specific:


Accounts Payable

  • Manage the purchase ledger for the hotel.
  • Process routine supplier invoices using ProcureWizard, a PurchasetoPayment system, administering and clearing any differences between Purchase Order, Delivery and Invoice
  • Match, code and process ad hoc supplier invoices using ProcureWizard onto our Sage Ledger
  • Draft for approval by the FC and process two payment runs per month

Accounts Receivable/Membership

  • Assist in the resolution of member queries
  • Reconciliation of member ledger to accounting ledger
  • Preparation of direct debit collection files
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable ledger for the hotel.
  • Assist the Membership/Events Manager in ensuring events are quickly and accurately invoiced and collected.

General Accounting Duties (examples below, actual duties may vary)

  • Manage daily finance admin duties, including auditing and accurately recording the revenue and statistics of the hotel, troubleshooting any queries, checking correct treatment of discounts.
  • Cash book processing and bank reconciliations
  • Credit card provider reconciliations
  • Participate in the process of monthend accounting, which may include stock taking, production and posting of monthend journals
  • Assist the Financial Controller in reconciling specific balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure compliance within USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) standards.

  • Responsibility for complying with company policy concerning health, safety and security of themselves and others and must ensure that they do not endanger others by their acts or omissions

General:


  • Ensuring that self and others adhere to all statutory requirements regarding H&S, Food Hygiene, Fire and Employee regulations.
  • Actively participate and identify all training and development requirements deemed appropriate for your role.
  • Work as one team and support Directors and Managers in carrying out tasks that might fall outside of your day to day remit, to support delivery and guest experience.
  • Represent the client at all times, in and outside of the working environment, to the highest standards; considering personal dress, appearance, behaviour and communication.
  • Execute the highest level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with internal and external visitors and guests.

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Knowledge & Skills: Strong administration skills, efficient, organised & numerical
  • Working knowledge of Sage or similar system ideal
  • Working knowledge of Procure Wizard or similar P2P systems ideal
  • Characteristics: Smart and presentable
  • Good communicator verbal and written
  • Inquisitive and challenging by nature
  • Confident in dealing with people
