Company Overview
Dealer UK includes Ibcos Computers Ltd and Catalyst Computer Systems Ltd.

Both businesses provide Dealer Management Software, with Ibcos focusing on the industries of Agriculture, Construction and Garden Machinery and Catalyst focusing on the industries of Motorcycle, Caravan and Motorhome, Retail and Trade and Agriculture.

We help Dealers manage all areas of the business operations from parts and service, through sales and finance, with innovative solutions to achieve their business objectives.

The Product Team are part of the R&D Team and work for Ibcos and Catalyst.

The Product Team consists of a Product Manager and a number of Business Analysts that work on different projects across both businesses.

This Business Analyst role will focus on projects for Ibcos and will report into the Product Manager.


Job Overview


As our first Content Designer, you will be responsible for introducing new and innovative ways to produce and publish content, including updating existing Help content on our existing Help platform.


You will work closely with other teams to understand the needs of our customers and our internal teams, and you will be responsible for helping users step through the system and find the information they need in the simplest, smartest way possible ensuring that they get the most from our products.

In collaboration with our Product Manager, you will contribute to our evolving content strategy, operations, and processes.

This is a position that will mean working across the products from both companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Expand and develop our Help centre to include userfirst, accessible content encompassing product documentation, FAQ's and Knowledge Base articles
  • Create, improve, and manage usercentred content using analytics, user feedback, and user research
  • Work with the R & D team to gather user feedback to map endtoend journeys
  • Review content to ensure it's accurate, relevant
  • Work with Marketing to develop a style guide
  • Drive user adoption of features by researching and creating Digital and In App content
  • Develop Company best practices and standards for use across all content
  • Keep abreast of system enhancements to ensure that content is up to date and relevant for its purpose
  • Support the continuous improvement of the user experience and product

Qualifications Required

Essential - educated to Degree standard or have equivalent work experience, excellent written and spoken English, proven experience in a similar role


Experience Required

Essential - experience using content management systems, expertise of creating digital content that is concise accurate, relevant, and suitable for the audience, experience developing a Help Centre


Desirable - experience of design thinking, experience of using digital adoption tools, experience of user research and other UX research methods
