Our client is an expanding business committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Superintendent to join the team in London.


Job Overview:
As a Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of LNG vessels.

You will work closely with the vessel's crew and shore-based staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessels.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of your assigned LNG vessels.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Work with the vessel's crew and shorebased staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the vessel's crew and shorebased staff.
  • Ensure all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sailing experience either in rank as Chief Officer or Master Mariner ideally with gas carriers
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in marine operations, with at least 2 years' experience in LNG operations.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience managing budgets and costs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
