Our client is an expanding business committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Superintendent to join the team in London.

Job Overview:
As a Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of LNG vessels.

You will work closely with the vessel's crew and shore-based staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessels.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the safe and efficient operation of your assigned LNG vessels.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Work with the vessel's crew and shorebased staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Provide technical support and guidance to the vessel's crew and shorebased staff.
Ensure all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Sailing experience either in rank as Chief Officer or Master Mariner ideally with gas carriers
Minimum of 5 years' experience in marine operations, with at least 2 years' experience in LNG operations.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
Experience managing budgets and costs.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
